You know the feeling when you are all excited about going to the gym and look forward to kick off with training, then after a few weeks your just not bothered because the motivation/spark isn’t there anymore, or start "passing the time". No matter what your fitness goals, you should always utilize/set aside enough time in your day to workout to stay healthy instead of feeling lazy to do so.
“the same voice that says GIVE UP, can also be trained to say KEEP GOING”
Are you one of those showing up for your sessions late, talk with your peers for another ten minutes, spend time on checking phones in-between very sets, take another ten minutes to put on your shoes, wrist wraps, and knees sleeves before you finally begin warming up ? Before you know it, thirty minutes to an hour has passed and you have done a whole lot of nothing.
“I do the same exercises I did 50 years ago and they still work. I eat the same food I ate 50 years ago and it still works.” - Arnold Schwarzenegger
Most people don’t want to workout because it requires too much effort so it’s much easier for them to stay at home and watch TV or get a few hours nap.
“I could go to the gym or a jog today but….”
“I don’t have time”
“I’m too lazy”
“I’m not in the mood”
“I’m feeling pain from yesterday workout”
Next time when you have these thoughts in mind, remember one thing :
"why you started"
HOW I MOTIVATE MYSELF
Challenge yourself
I simply don’t wait to feel motivated to workout. I workout to feel motivated! I do it because I enjoy working out. Start challenging yourself by rep out heavier weight than the previous week, & that feeling of accomplishment will keep you focused. If your mindset/goal is clear about what to exercise before hitting gym, than Motivation should never be a problem.

Get a Workout Partner
Whether it’s a lifelong friend or an office buddy, gym partners give you a real boost. Partners not only help with the motivational aspect, but they can help in getting you better results, too. They push you a little harder than you’d normally push yourself and make sure you actually go to the gym even when you feel like going home. If he is more knowledgeable about exercising, he may offer insight into improving your workout routine.

Set Realistic Goals
No matter how big or small your goal-whether its weight loss or muscle building, making changes require planning i.e setting realistic goals. Your goals should be specific. There are many ways to get healthy, How you want to do it?? Break it down & it'll easier to manage. Be completely honest with yourself and ask if you can realistically see yourself doing what it takes to achieve that goal.
Tracking Progress
Nothing kills motivation like going to the gym for months on end and feeling as though you’re getting nowhere. Chances are that you are making progress, but it can be difficult to notice if the process is gradual. This is why tracking is so important.Keep track of your progress by weighing/measuring yourself at the end of each month and keeping a record. It’s good to track and measure your body fat percentage too. This allows you to make sure that you’re losing fat rather than muscle.
WHAT INSPIRED ME TO WRITE THIS ??
During my training in Gym, i met many people & come up with our Gym Gang or Gym Buddies. We all try to train our-self regularly, but yeah sometimes can't make it due to office or personal work. But one of our partner Pankaj Kumar Singh is the "master of excuses", one or another day he come up with is innovative reasons that there are no words to describe. some power nap shots of him in Gym

In our 6 days of training per week, the only person who attends for 2-3 days is him, and icing on the cake is that in his training session he talks more than exercising. Despite of motivational scolding, taunting, we have tried every aspect to motivate him, but he has his own reasons every time. And every day he's questioning "why my muscles are not growing". What should i reply?? :-{
"the hardest lift of all is lifting your butt of the couch "
Hope by reading this blog, he and many like him might try to get overcome their Laziness, and start training regularly & properly
STAY HEALTHY !!!
